Employee-Based Green Card

Family-Based Green Card

At Tony M. Chang Law Firm & Realty, we help clients to united with their families in the US through immigration processes. They are including green card for an immediate relative of a U.S. citizen, green card for a family member of a U.S. citizen, green card for a family member of a green card holder, etc.

Temporary Visas

The United States welcomes thousands of foreign workers in multiple occupations or employment categories every year. These include artists, researchers, cultural exchange participants, information technology specialists, religious workers, investors, scientists, athletes, nurses, agricultural workers and others. All foreign workers must obtain permission to work legally in the United States. Each employment category for admission has different requirements, conditions and authorized periods of stay. It is important that you adhere to the terms of your application or petition for admission and visa. Any violation can result in removal or denial of re-entry into the United States.

US Nationalization and Citizenship

If you are a green card holder of at least 5 years and meet the following requirements, you are qualified to apply for naturalization:

  • Be 18 or older at the time of filing
  • Be a green card holder for at least 5 years immediately preceding the date of filing the Form N-400, Application for Naturalization
  • Have lived within the state, or USCIS district with jurisdiction over the applicant’s place of residence, for at least 3 months prior to the date of filing the application
  • Have continuous residence in the United States as a green card holder for at least 5 years immediately preceding the date of filing the application
  • Be physically present in the United States for at least 30 months out of the 5 years immediately preceding the date of filing the application
  • Reside continuously within the United States from the date of application for naturalization up to the time of naturalization
  • Be able to read, write, and speak English and have knowledge and an understanding of U.S. history and government (civics).
  • Be a person of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the United States during all relevant periods under the law

Deportation/Removal Defense

The formal removal of an alien from the United States when the alien has been found removable for violating the immigration laws. Deportation is ordered by an immigration judge without any punishment being imposed or contemplated. 美國政府每年都會歡迎上千名來自世界各地從事不同的職業的外國勞工在各種機構下就職。其中包括藝術家，研究人員，文化交流人士，信息工程專業人員，宗教人士，投資者，科學家，運動員，護士，農業工人以及其他職業人士。所有的外籍勞工都必須獲得在美國合法工作的許可。每個工作移民類別有不同的接納要求，條件，和逗留許可期限。所以申請人要嚴格遵守所批准的簽證條款。任何違規都會導致拒絕或剝奪再次入境的權利。

 

公民入籍

如果您持有綠卡超過5年以上，而且符合以下條件，您就可以申請公民入籍：

  • 申請人在提交入籍申請時必須年滿18週歲或以上
  • 在提交入籍申請日時，申請人必須已經持有綠卡至少5年
  • 在提交入籍申請日以後，申請人必須在申請州或美國移民局管轄區內居住至少3個月以上
  • 在提交入籍申請日時，申請人必須在獲得永久居民身份後在美國境內連續居住5年或更久
  • 在提交入籍申請日時，申請人過去5年內在美國居住時間累計不少於30個月
  • 申請人在提出入籍申請後到獲得公民身份後，仍需要在美國連續居住
  • 申請人必須具備英文的讀、寫、說的能力，而且還要求瞭解一定的美國歷史和政府的基本知識
  • 申請人必須要品德優良，遵守美國憲法

 

驅逐出境
